Andrew M. DuHaime
Andrew attended Stockton State College (now Richard Stockton College of New Jersey) from 1990-1994. While studying for his BA in Business Management, he kept a busy schedule, being very involved with the Intramural Sports Program as a staff member, while also serving as Treasurer. Congruently, Andrew worked part-time at Caesars – Atlantic City in the “chip bank” as a cashier.
After returning home from college, Andrew’s experiences had earned him a promotion, converting a “summer job” into his first position in Management with the Accounting department at The Sherwin Williams Company in Newark, NJ. After 3 valuable years, Andrew’s innovative ideas outside the accounting function led to his first business venture as a freelance Advertising Salesperson going “door-to-door”. His ability to identify and produce the needs of his clients became his calling card, but success became hindered by daily travel.
In 1998, Andrew started his Insurance Recruiting career working as a telemarketer developing leads and contacts with the NY/NJ Metropolitan Area brokers. Due to his relentless work ethic and long hours, Andrew’s ability to identify, qualify, and recruit top insurance professionals became apparent immediately. His “out of the box” ideas while consulting with clients on their staffing and management needs, earned him a promotion to Recruiter, then to Director. Andrew’s reputation to produce solid and long-term results quickly grew, resulting in clients and competitors alike, looking to him to fill their employment staffing needs.
“… Life is full of “time frames” that make you perform moment to moment. And how you perform in those moments define who you are and what you are all about. Not every outcome has the best result, but the effort you put forth prepares you for the next challenge. In this business, you have a window of opportunity. And exhausting every possibility to create a solution is what it takes to get the job done, no matter how long into the night your work takes you.”
